Re: SO 2017-6 Temporary Founder Election Lock-down Permissions Act
My Right Honourable friend wrote a very interesting and promising Bill once again, as he always does!
I can see where this Bill goes and I will say that I agree with the direction. However, I do have one question:
Would the Prime Minister agree with me that, by putting an exact period of time in the Bill allows members, raiders, etc. to take advantage of it, in the way that they could just create a puppet directly before an election lockdown? In my opinion, we should say that the password-protection can be applied within say three days before the election.
I would also make the following suggestion: that a specific provision is included in which it is written down that the lockdown cannot be applied with regards to an election of the Prime Minister, for as only members of the World Assembly may vote in such elections, and that thus no member/raider/etc. can use a puppet/raider/etc. to vote in favour of himself or another candidate.

Yo have the point on lock down the region days before the election (at here you mentioned three days).
However, I would like to proposed that in case of times before any elections if there is quite an unusual amount of nations join our region, these nation should be investigate or their vote consider to be uncounted.

While we understand you concerns, your solution in my opinion does not adequately address them. Could someone intending to commit voter fraud not just send a puppet three days before the election with your solution?Nassau-Windsor wrote:My Right Honourable friend wrote a very interesting and promising Bill once again, as he always does!

Nevertheless I do support changing the time period to within 72 hours to allow the Founder greater flexibility given a greater time window.

My Honourable friend makes a valid point: the solution does not adequately address the issue. However, no solution could possible resolve the issue beforehand. People who have the wish to influence our elections will always be looking forward for measures to do so. With my proposal, it would be made more difficult because the period in which they can act directly before an election would be limited as they do not know when exactly the ban will be imposed.
I am grateful that he supports my proposal to change the time period to within 72 hours nonetheless.

I thank my Right Honourable friend for being so open to changes of his proposals.
It seems to me however, that the Prime Minister, due to his extremely busy schedule, has overlooked my earlier suggestion. Would he therefore be willing to comment on it now?
- Earlier suggestion:

Re: SO 2017-6 Temporary Founder Election Lock-down Permissions Act
I think I would feel safer if the lockdown applied to all elections: the WA doesn't root out double membership instantaneously, so the result could still be influenced late in the election.
Re: SO 2017-6 Temporary Founder Election Lock-down Permissions Act
Abdoa is correct. Sometimes it takes days to even weeks for a violator of the WA Multi Rule to have their membership revoked.

I had thought of that too. But that sort of comes back down to the whole register to vote stuff... Lets keep in mind that this is intended as a placeholder bill.
