Hm, I'm surprised I missed this in the Drafting Table.

Amendment I: Strike Article 9, Renumber Article 5 as Article 9, and decrement the numbering for Articles 6 through 10.

Amendment II: Amend the current Article 5 to read:
"If any President, Senator, or Prime Minister, duly elected and installed in office, resigns from his duties, ceases to exist during his term, or is otherwise removed from office, a special election shall be held, and the winner of that election will serve the remaining period of time left in his predecessor’s complete term."

Amendment III: Strike Article 7 and decrement the numbering for subsequent articles.

Instead of having this complicated Article 7 process for resetting the terms of the office of the Prime Minister if a sitting PM is forced to resign, just have a standard procedure for all the mentioned elected offices where the winner of the special election reigns until the end of their predecessor's term, and then the terms continue as normal.

Also, articles 5 and 9 are redundant-ish.

I understand your logic completely, and agree that it would be much simpler like this: however, we kind of need everything that's here so that the bill is constitutional. I cite Article II Section F Subsection 1 of the Constitution: "If the Prime Minister is removed, the WA nations in the Region must elect a new Prime Minister for a completely new term." This means that if a PM is removed by a motion of no confidence by parliament, his term is abridged. However, we should probably amend the bill to specify that if he just resigns or CTEs, the normal by-election procedure is applied.

Alas, you are correct. I hereby drop all previously proposed amendments and co-sponsor this proposal.
