Terms of Office Act
 
BE IT ORDERED by the President of the Union, by and with the advice and consent of the Senators of the Union, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same;-
 
Article 1
For the purposes of this Act, the suffix “-elect” indicates that the nation in question has been declared elected to the office in question, but has not yet assumed the duties of that office.
 
Article 2
The Founder-elect assumes the duties of Founder from the moment of the official declaration of result which elects him to the position of Founder. He serves until he ceases to exist.
 
Article 3
The Presidential terms in a year are defined as follows:
The period of time between the instants 0000 Universal Coordinated Time (UTC) on November 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on January 31 of the following year constitutes a complete presidential term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on February 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on April 30 of that same year constitutes a complete presidential term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on May 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on July 31 of that same year constitutes a complete presidential term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on August 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on October 31 of that same year constitutes a complete presidential term.
 
Article 4
The Senatorial terms in a year are defined as follows:
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on November 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on December 31 of that same year constitutes a complete senatorial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on January 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on February 28 (February 29 in leap years) of that same year constitutes a complete senatorial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on March 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on April 30 of that same year constitutes a complete senatorial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on May 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on June 30 of that same year constitutes a complete senatorial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on July 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on August 31 of that same year constitutes a complete senatorial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on September 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on October 31 of that same year constitutes a complete senatorial term.
 
Article 5
If the President or a Senator, duly elected and installed in office, resigns from his duties or ceases to exist during his term, a special election shall be held, and the winner of that election will serve the remaining period of time left in his predecessor’s complete term.
 
Article 6
The Prime Ministerial terms in a year are defined as follows:
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on November 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on February 28 (29 in leap years) of the following year constitutes a complete prime ministerial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on March 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on June 30 of the following year constitutes a complete prime ministerial term.
The period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on July 1 of a certain year and 2400 UTC on October 31 of the following year constitutes a complete prime ministerial term.
 
Article 7
If at any point in time, the incumbent Prime Minister is removed from office by the Parliament as per Article II Section F of the Constitution of the Union: “The Parliament may pass a Vote of No Confidence in the Prime Minister and force him to resign”, Article 6 of this Act is invalidated, and from that point in time onwards, the Prime Ministerial terms are defined as, if the previous term was cut short by the invocation of Article II Section F of the Constitution of the Union, the period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on the day following the official declaration of result which elects him to the position of Prime Minister and 2400 UTC on the day which is exactly one hundred and twenty two (122) days later, and in other cases as the period of time between the instants 0000 UTC on the day following the day on which the previous term expired and 2400 UTC on the day which is exactly one hundred and twenty two (122) days later.
 
Article 8
The President-elect, Prime Minister-elect, and Senators-elect assume the respective duties of President, Prime Minister, and Senator from the first instant of the term that they were elected to serve. If that term has already started, then the President-elect, Prime Minister-elect, and Senators-elect assume the respective duties of President, Prime Minister, and Senator from the moment of the official declaration of result which elects him to his position.
 
Article 9
All elected officials serve for the entirety of their term(s) unless they cease to exist, voluntarily resign, or are otherwise removed.

Article 10
This Act may be cited as "[The] Terms of Office Act 2017".
