A formal request to hold a referendum

My Honourable friend,

Following to SO 2015-1 (“Referendum Bill”) I do hereby call for a Yes/No referendum on SO 2016-12 (The Region’s Administrative Branch 2016 [Constitutional Amendment], as I find this decision will most strongly affect myself and in fact all us among this Region.

I also call all other Members of this Region, whether government officials or not, to support this referendum, in order to receive the 20% required membership to back this proposal.

I have confidence that you will handle this request according to procedures.
