Re: Parliamentary Journal of the 10th Parliament of the Union
III. General Debate Topic
Three questions were asked in the General Debate Topic this session:
1) On May 5, 2017, Senator Nassau-Windsor asked Prime Minister Sepharich the following question: "[…] if he has any plans concerning proposals of law for this Session of Parliament? And if so, if he has directed any of his Ministers to write such proposals, or whether he plans on writing them himself." On May 5, 2017, a response was given by Prime Minister Sepharich.
2) On May 12, 2017, Senator Nassau-Windsor asked Minister of Development Libertarian Democracy the following question: “[…] whether he has given some instructions to the Roleplay Moderator [Hashkin] on the implementation of Our Region's Members onto Our Regional Map?” On May 16, 2017, a response was given by Minister of Development Libertarian Democracy. Subsequently, on May 16, 2017, Senator Nassau-Windsor asked Minister of Development Libertarian Democracy the following question: “Have you also given him [Hashkin] a period of time until landmasses should be claimed by the Members?” A response was not given.
3) On May 16, 2017, Senator Nassau-Windsor asked Prime Minister Sepharich the following question: “whether or not he will approve of a Bill that would make it possible to give some positions, including his own and that of President, in commission if the incumbents fear that they will be incapable of being suitably active in Our Region for a longer period of time.” He also requested that other Ministers answer the question if their response would be different from that of the Prime Minister. No responses were given.
IV. Election of a Speaker of Parliament Pro Tempore
On May 1, 2017, Senator Abdoa, as Chair of the previous Parliament at its dissolution, opened nominations for the post of Speaker of Parliament the 10th Parliament Pro Tempore. Nominations closed on May 1, 2017, with only one candidate who was elected by acclamation, Senator Abdoa.
