SO 2017-24 Amendments to SO 2017-03 Parliamentary Procedure Orders Act Voting

Amendments to SO 2017-03 ("Parliamentary Procedure Orders Act")
Article 1
To insert the following clause at the end of Article II:
“If when Parliament is dissolved, any bill has commenced steps d), f), h), i), or k), then that step must continue until completed, but after it has been completed, no further action may be taken on the bill in question until a new Parliament is convened.”
Article 2
To insert the following clause at the end of Article IV:
“If when Parliament is dissolved, any constitutional amendment has commenced steps c), d), or f), then that step must continue until completed, but after it has been completed, no further action may be taken on the bill in question until a new Parliament is convened.”
Article 3
To insert the following article after Article I and to renumber the following articles:
“The following order of business shall be followed during each session of Parliament, from the moment of convening:
1) Election of a Speaker pro tempore as per SO#2017-16 (“Speaker pro tempore of Parliament Act 2017”).
2) Unfinished business held over from the previous session of Parliament at dissolution.
3) Amendments to these Orders proposed in the previous session of Parliament.
4) New business: bills or constitutional amendments proposed during the ongoing session of Parliament.”
Article 4
To amend points g) and l) of Article II to replace the word “President” in each with the words “President’s Desk”.
Article 5
To Amend Article VII: to prepend "1)" to the current text and to append the following text:
'2) No bill may add, remove, amend, overrule, or otherwise affect the Parliamentary Procedure unless it is an amendment to this Document pursuant to Clause 1 of this Article.'

NASSAU-WINDSOR, LSM, of the Parliamentary Union of Nations and of all Our other Realms and Territories President.
TO Our trusty and well-beloved Members of Parliament and to other Members of Our Region whatsoever to whom these Presents shall come, Greeting!
FORASMUCH as in Our said Parliament this Amendment has been agreed upon by you Our trusty and well-beloved Members of the tenth Session of Parliament, in accordance with the provisions of the Law, and have presented it to Us for Our Presidential Assent;
THE title of which reads as follows: “Senate Order 2017-24 Amendments to Senate Order 2017-03 (Parliamentary Procedure Orders) Act”;
BUT the said Amendment Act is not of force and effect in the law without Our Presidential Assent, noting also that Our Presidential Desk is the accustomed place for giving Our Presidential Assent to such Amendment Acts as have been agreed upon by you said Members of Parliament;
WE have therefore caused these Our Letters Patent to be made and have signed them and by them do give Our Presidential Assent to the said Measure;
WILLING that the said Measure shall be of the same strength, force and effect as if We had been personally present in the Voting Chamber of Parliament and had there publicly and in the presence of you all assented to the same;
COMMANDING that these Our Presents do hereby declare this Our Presidential Assent endorse the said Measure in Our name as is requisite and to record these our Letters Patent and the said Measure in manner accustomed;
AND FINALLY WE do declare that after this Our Presidential Assent given and declared as is aforesaid then and immediately the said [Act/Measure] shall be taken and accepted as good and perfect Measure of Parliament and be put in due execution accordingly.
IN WITNESS whereof We have caused these Our Letters to be made Patent.
WITNESS Ourself at Our Presidential Desk the twelfth day of May in the year of two-thousand and seventeen.
